The A3 is the German luxury brand’s entry-level sedan. There are two models to choose from starting with the 40 TFSI and its turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine producing 201 horsepower. The sportier S3 will please performance enthusiasts with 306 horsepower from the same engine. Alas, the hardcore RS 3 still cannot be ordered in Canada. Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system comes standard along with a seven-speed automatic transmission.
