As part of an expansion of the Alfa Romeo lineup in Canada, the all-new Tonale crossover arrives for 2023 and slots just below the Stelvio. It’s a direct response to small luxury SUVs from Germany, and while the standard engine is a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder that produces 256 horsepower, the difference-making option is a plug-in hybrid powertrain with 272 horsepower and close to 50 km of pure electric range.
