Ford Bronco Sport Gets Bronze Package for 2026

Just like it did before with the Mustang and Mustang Mach-E, Ford is giving a bronze treatment to its Bronco Sport compact SUV for the 2026 model year. It's all part of a new appearance package available in both the U.S. and Canada.

As you may have noticed, bronze has surfaced as a trend in automotive, fashion, jewelry and other consumer products for the past several years. The Sinister Bronze that’s now featured on the Bronco Sport is actually similar to Mocha Mousse, which was named “Color of the Year” for 2025 by colour specialist Pantone.

The Bronze Package will be available on Big Bend models as well as with the Black Diamond Off-Road Package, plus late availability on Badlands models.

It starts with 17-inch, fully painted mid-gloss wheels, then adds bronze lettering on the grille and liftgate backed by a black outline. Painted fender vents are another accent. On all models, the roof and grille are painted black while the door handles match the body colour.

Bronze naturally extends to the interior of the vehicle. Painted accents stretch across the instrument panel and around the vents, as well as on the door panel C-channels, all weather floor mats and cargo area protector.

The centre console wears bronze Bronco badging, while the steering wheel, armrests and cloth seats feature Canyon stitching to complete the package.

“One of the beautiful things about this shade is that it blends seamlessly with landscapes,” says Kristen Keenan, colours and materials designer at Ford. “When I imagine being out on the trail, overlanding, or off-roading, I focus on the ground, inspiration coming from the actual land itself. Sinister Bronze captures that hue. The color is truly at home on the trails.”

By the way, don't miss the detailed account of our adventure at the Bronco Off-Roadeo camp in Maryville, Tennessee, behind the wheel of a 2025 Ford Bronco Sport Sasquatch. You’ll see that small off-roaders can be great, too.
