2026 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek to Arrive in Canada This Fall at Last
Announced a year ago and already on sale in the U.S., the new Rock Creek edition of the Nissan Rogue will finally arrive in Canadian dealerships this fall as a 2026 model—and the Pathfinder Rock Creek’s little brother.
This more adventurous version of the Japanese compact SUV is just the latest in a long and still growing line of vehicles designed with off-road driving and the great outdoors in mind. Direct competitors include the Honda CR-V TrailSport, Toyota RAV4 Woodland, GMC Terrain AT4, Subaru Forester Wilderness and Ford Bronco Sport Badlands.

The Rogue Rock Creek features a unique front grille in gloss black with silver accents, all part of a more rugged-looking front end. A tubular roof rack with integrated crossbars makes it possible to carry more equipment, while the Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires fitted to the 17-inch satin black wheels provide extra traction on dirt roads and trails. Hill descent control is included, too.

Inside, the leatherette seats will be easy to clean. Rock Creek logos are paired with other Lava Red accents and contrast stitching. On a practical note, there’s a new 12V power outlet in the cargo area, while the 360-degree camera system adds an off-road view that can operate at speeds up to 19 km/h, helping drivers spot obstacles along the way.
By the way, similar to the base S and SV models, the Rogue Rock Creek has an 8-inch touchscreen rather than the 12.3-inch display found in the range-topping Platinum model, which also benefits from Google built-in including the Google Assistant and Google Maps navigation.

In each case, the engine under the hood is a turbocharged 1.5-litre triple-cylinder unit that delivers 201 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque via a CVT. We find it rather disappointing in terms of real-world performance, efficiency and sound. It has also experienced a few problems including manufacturing defects that recently caused Nissan to announce a major recall.
Pricing for the 2026 Nissan Rogue including the new Rock Creek model will be shared closer to launch this fall. We’re also waiting to see the much anticipated plug-in hybrid variant that’s set to join the lineup shortly using technology from the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.
