2026 Honda Civic Gets Minor Price Bump
Following the 2025 update, the Honda Civic returns without major changes for the 2026 model year. As inflation dictates, prices continue to rise, but this time the increase is modest.
The compact sedan’s five trim levels will each cost $500 more, starting with the entry-level LX at $31,193 (MSRP plus fees). That's about $3,000 more expensive than the first year of the current generation (2022). And unfortunately, Honda’s financing and leasing rates remain very high.
The other four-door Civics are priced at $35,053 (Sport), $36,948 (Sport Hybrid), $39,453 (Si) and $40,448 (Sport Touring Hybrid).

As far as the 2026 Civic Hatchback is concerned, Canadian prices had not been announced at the time of writing. Unlike the sedan, which is produced in Ontario, this five-door variant is assembled in the United States (Indiana), and Honda Canada is still assessing the impact of the counter-tariffs on American-made vehicles.
After regaining its crown as the best-selling car in the country at the end of 2024, the Civic continued its momentum in 2025, receiving the North American Car of the Year and Canadian Car of the Year awards. It easily beat sales of the Toyota Corolla in the first quarter, with 7,259 units versus 5,152 for its less expensive Japanese rival.

The Civic is also the slowest-depreciating new compact car according to Kelley Blue Book.
