Audi RS5 Coming to North America After All!
You might recall an article recently on the new Audi RS5. Boasting 444 horsepower from an RS4-sourced V8, the shapely, uber-aggressive coupe was initially expected to be a Europe-only release. Apparently, we were wrong.
Audi has announced the supercoupe will indeed be released in North America, albeit on a slightly different schedule than its European sibling. With its interment schedule to take place next fall, the America RS5 will also (apparently) boast a slightly lower price, with sources citing a $75,000 US MSRP. Expecting the RS5 to be something of a slow seller, Audi will be importing every RS5 with a full load of options, including Dynamic Ride Control, Boysen sport exhaust, and the all-important sport differential.
