North American drivers, however, will have to wait another year before they can own a Golf VII.

Quick trip to New York
Nonetheless, this vehicle will be making its North American debut at the upcoming New York Auto Show.
The American Division of the German automobile giant will be making the most of the occasion by introducing three different models:
- Volkswagen Golf VII TSI
- Volkswagen Golf VII TDI
- Volkswagen Golf VII GTI
Assembled in Mexico
The Volkswagen Golf VII sold in North America will be assembled in Puebla, Mexico.
It should hit the American market in Summer 2014.
