Ford F-150 EcoBoost Sales Building Steam
Although there are still plenty of skeptics and naysayers out there flouting their anti-turbocharger drivel about the new twin-turbo V6-powered F-150 EcoBoost, the proof would appear to be in the pudding: 36% of American F-150 buyers would disagree.
Carrying a slight premium over the mid-level V8 (which is the 400-horsepower 5.0L, for those that didn’t know) but coming in cheaper than the mighty 6.2L V8, the miserly EcoBoost mill works phenomenally well and carries a stupendous 11,300 pounds. But its capability was never in question; it’s acceptance rating was… but no longer, apparently.
