Exclusive MINI Countryman Boardwalk Has Just Landed in Canada

If you’re a fan of the big MINI—that would be the MINI Countryman—the company has some exciting news: following the 2021 model update, a limited Boardwalk Edition joins the lineup for 2022.

As MINI Canada director Mat Sayer points out, the unique Boardwalk design pays tribute to the famous wooden promenades of typical English piers. “And that stunning Deep Laguna paintwork is sure to turn heads on city streets, country roads, and beach-sides across Canada,” he says.

Based on the Cooper S ALL4 variant, this special edition also sports a black contrast finish on the roof and mirror caps, the former adding “Boardwalk” graphics on the sides. Other exterior components get a Piano Black finish to go along with matching black 18-inch Pin Spoke wheels. Obviously, the side scuttles boast a distinctive look, too.

Inside, the MINI Countryman Boardwalk Edition includes MINI Yours Lounge Leather in Carbon Black and similar “Boardwalk” graphics on the dashboard. The door sills are unique to this model.

Some of the notable amenities include LED fog lights and headlights, keyless entry, a full panoramic sunroof, automatic trunk and touchscreen navigation. Music lovers will enjoy the harman/kardon premium sound system, while drivers who want to relax benefit from MINI’s full suite of driving assistance features including Active Cruise Control with Stop ‘n’ Go functionality.
