Certain vehicles may contain brake fluid that does not inhibit corrosion, which could cause corrosion to form in the anti-lock brake (ABS) module.

This could result in longer brake pedal travel and/or reduced brake performance, vehicle instability and a rear wheel lock condition, which may increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury.

Correction: Dealers will inspect the ABS module and, if necessary, replace the module.

Dealers are to also change the brake fluid and provide a supplement to the Owner Manual that instructs customers to use only GM recommended brake fluid.
