Over the years, Ford has neglected its legendary Explorer. But the automaker has decided to rectify the situation for 2011 – and not in half measures. A total makeover is changing this vehicle’s exterior, interior and even its underbelly. New engine possibilities include a 237-hp 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo and a 290-hp 3.5-litre V6.
