The next 3 Series will hit the market in early 2012, with the sedan coming first. In the meantime, the coupe and cabriolet will stay the course with no changes, while the wagon will not be renewed given the arrival of the new X1. This new generation will be offered with the same 6-cylinder inline engine currently used or a new 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo producing 240 hp. The style changes will remain subtle.
