Podcast: What We Know About the Tesla Cybertruck, 2024 Porsche Panamera and Lexus IS, Hyundai Santa Fe Test Drive

On this 21st episode of The Car Guide Podcast, LP and Gab talk about the long-awaited Tesla Cybertruck launch/delivery event, which is happening today. Blurbs of information have surface ahead of this launch, like the towing capacity of 11,000 lb and the payload capacity of 2,500 lbs. But there are many other less important and quicker features about this angular vehicle that you should (or shouldn’t) know about.

LP and Gab also provide a glimpse of the new 2024 Porsche Panamera, which is getting a total of four hybrid versions for this new generation. The 2024 Lexus IS is also covered by our hosts in this episode. The four-door sedan isn’t getting important changes, but it is keeping many elements we love (and hate) about it.

During the test drive segment of the episode, Gab describes his experience at the wheel of the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe, which provides a choice of two powertrains. This family SUV is geared towards versatility rather than driving pleasure, but still contains several useful tech and convenience gadgets worth talking about.

LP tells us all about his experience at the wheel of the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe. This unbridled Benz sits on top of the lineup and is known of it s belligerent character. However, it is now more approachable than ever thanks to the 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system and a more versatile interior.

Finally, Gab gives us a great overview of his impressions at the wheel of the new Land Rover Defender 130.
