Land a Hole-in-one, Win a BMW i8!
Most professional golf championships offer a special prize when a player scores a hole-in-one. So when you manage to do so in a BMW-sponsored event, you can be sure that the prize is going to be interesting!
Last Sunday at the BMW International Open, James Heath managed to get the ball into the hole on the first shot of a Par 3. The ball travelled 136 meters before landing straight in the cup!
Because of this, the Bavarian automaker has just awarded him with a brand new BMW i8! So far during the 26 year span of the Open, only 5 cars have been given away thanks to holes-in-one: a 325i Cabrio, a 640i Gran Coupe and even a rare and beautiful BMW Z8!
The English golfer is currently very happy with his new car, but he probably won’t like it as much when he has to try and fit a golf bag inside!
