8,000 Orders in Three Days for the 2014 RAM EcoDiesel

Less than 72 hours after RAM Trucks started taking orders from their dealers for the 2014 RAM 1500 EcoDiesel, they already had filled the initial allocation for the first round with more than 8,000 trucks. This is more than half of the orders for all 2014 RAM trucks. Even more surprisingly, more than half of those EcoDiesel Trucks are already sold to customers who did not get a chance to drive the vehicle beforehand.

The RAM 1500 EcoDiesel, with 9,200 pounds towing capability and an 8.4 L/100 km fuel consumption is currently the only light-duty full-size pickup offered with a diesel engine.

If you want to order a RAM EcoDiesel, note that the company will build customer's pickups before they start production of those headed to dealerships.
