Ford Mustang: Official Car of the Consumer Electronics Show

The 2014 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas just opened its doors this morning.

The great gathering of electronics enthusiasts has attracted several automakers in recent years, who took the opportunity to present their latest technological gadgets.

This year, at least nine manufacturers will be showcasing their latest and greatest technology with displays at CES.

The official car

Ford has gone all in this year and will use the CES to present its brand new 6th generation Mustang. The Mustang will be the official car of the event.

The 2015 Ford Mustang pays homage to the fastback style which first appeared on the 1970 Mustang. It is powered by three very different engines including:

- 3.7-litre V6 generating 300 horsepower;
- 5.0-litre V8 with 420 horsepower;
- Four-cylinder EcoBoost turbo that delivers more than 305 horsepower.
