New Info on the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado!

It was unveiled last month in Los Angeles, heralding the return of a mid-size pickup for Chevrolet. This beautiful truck will face off against the Honda Ridgeline, Nissan Frontier and Toyota Tacoma.

The Chevrolet Colorado is available in WT, LT and Z71 versions.

Three configurations

It’s already being called the "compact Silverado" and was designed in three configurations to meet many requirements:
- Extended cab with elongated 6-foot box;
- Crew Cab model with 5-foot box;
- Crew Cab model with 6-foot box.

Depending on the desired style, you can choose between 2WD or 4WD. Like the Silverado, the Colorado enjoys triple sealed doors to improve the soundproofing of the cabin and the vehicle's aerodynamics.

A new interior

The interior is comfortable, friendly and more connected than ever. The dashboard has a relatively similar feel to the Silverado which includes two screens (8 " and 3.4 ") and has OnStar and MyLink technologies.

Storage spaces and loading

The 2015 Chevrolet Colorado offers plenty of storage space inside and innovative use of cargo space:
- Standard rear bumper with step-ups;
- EZ Lift tailgate which is lower for easier lifting;
- A two-tier loading system;
- Three anchor points;
- Standard bed rail and tailgate protectors;
- Factory spray-on box liner.

The Colorado’s towing capacity is 3039 kg ( 6700 lb).

Two engines

Under the hood, you have the option of two very different engines:
- 2.5-litre four-cylinder with 193 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque
- 3.6-litre V6 with 302 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque.

Both are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission while the 2WD Extended Cab WT model with the 2.5-litre engine can also be had with a six-speed manual gearbox.

A 2.8-litre four-cylinder Duramax diesel with 200 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque will eventually complete the trio.
