Nissan BladeGlider Concept: to Appear at Tokyo

While many concept vehicles have rounded or angular shapes, here's a concept with triangular lines .

To do this, the front width of the Nissan BladeGlidder is only 1 metre while at the back is 1.89 metres wide.

It’s an original approach where the weight distribution ratio meets the front and rear 30/70.

According to the engineers of the brand, bringing the front wheels closer has the advantage of reducing the aerodynamic drag of the vehicle and increasing its stability in curves.

The Nissan BladeGlidder Concept is a coupe with three seats, the driver getting in a center position.

Electric motor in each rear wheel

The rear wheels are each given an electric motor, making it a rear-drive sport coupe. A production version is planned, which would inherit many of the characteristics of the LEAF engine. This is a car that would compete with the eccentric Volkswagen XL1 whose production is about to begin.

The Nissan BladeGlidder Concept will be officially unveiled at the International Motor Show in Tokyo this week.
