Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG: Faithful to its V12

In two weeks at the Los Angeles and Tokyo Auto Shows, Mercedes-Benz will unveil its 2014 S65 AMG model, which retains its V12 engine.

It should be noted that only the extended wheelbase version of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class can be called the S65 AMG.

This third version of the sedan is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 bi-turbo, which generates 630 horsepower. Torque is measured at 737 lb-ft between 2300 and 4300 RPM.

The manufacturer lists a fuel consumption of 11.9 L/100 km.

The production model inherits the new Intelligent Magic Body Control suspension. Ceramic brakes can be purchased as an option.

Arrival of the car is scheduled for March, 2014.
