Chevy Cruze Turbo Diesel Cross Canada Challenge

Last Thursday the journalist couple Garry Sowerby and Lisa Calvi began a 6000 kilometre journey of across Canada to break a record of crossing the country using the least amount of diesel fuel possible.

It’s a record that Garry and Lisa want to establish while driving a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze turbo diesel. Vancouver was their starting point, and they have a ten day journey to get to Halifax.

The new sedan is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine making 151 horsepower and, of course, powered by diesel fuel.

MSRP for the Cruze is $24,945.
