Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible: Introduced in Geneva

Thanks to the small photo leaked by Maisto, we’ve already had a glimpse of the Chevrolet Corvette Convertible.

The latest word is that the convertible version of the powerful 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will be officially unveiled in March, at the Geneva Motor Show.

Thus, it stands to reason that its North American debut will occur in April, at the New York Auto Show.

This convertible is powered by the same engine found in the coupe: the mighty 450-hp 6.2L V8 LT1. It can be mated with either a seven-speed manual transmission or six-speed automatic.

This drivetrain can take the vehicle up to 100 km/h in four seconds.
