Bentley Celebrates Queen's 60th Ruling Year

Call us loyalists, but there's something to be said for any culture that manages to keep a tradition alive for as many years as the British monarchy, and there's something more to be said for a culture that goes a step further and keeps their monarchs alive as long as Queen Elizabeth II. Celebrating her diamond jubilee as our Queen this year, many iconic English brands (especially those with Royal Warrants) have opted to celebrate the momentous occasion, and Bentley is no different, choosing to honour the occasion by producing one very special Mulsanne.

Produced by the same coachworks that's responsible for Her Majesty's state limousine, the Mulsanne Diamond Jubilee Edition by Mulliner improves upon the already top-of-the-line Bentley by tweaking the big sedan's luxurious style with a uniquely luxurious interior with gold embroidery upon the headrests and included leather pillows, as well as gold inlay on the veneered folding tabletops and dashboard depicting Her Majesty's carriage. Only sixty will be produced, with each intended to serve as a homage to each year of the Queen's reign, and colour choices will be fittingly limited to various shades of red, white, and blue... the same colours that have flown over England for an eternity.
