The 2.0L Impreza now comes with two camshafts with variable valve timing. There is one cam for the intake valves and another for the exhaust. There is a space between the two cams for the spark plug in the centre of the combustion chamber. All this makes the engine more efficient and helps reduce fuel consumption.
