Rumours: Cadillac Has Big Plans For Its ATS-V

Rumours, rumours, rumours! According to Motor Trend, Cadillac is thinking about offering a new version of its ATS-V.

The ATS-V is powered by a twin-turbo 3.6 litre V6, good for 464 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. Basically, Motor Trend says that Cadillac wants to offer a “+” version of its ATS-V, which would be powered by a 7 litre LS7 V8. This particular engine is offered in the Camaro Z/28, where it produces 505 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque.

It would make sense for Cadillac to do so, in order to compete directly against the Mercedes-AMG C63 S, which currently stands at 503 horsepower, compared to 469 horsepower for the entry level C63.
