The North American Car/Truck Of The Year Award Goes To...

Each year, a panel of automotive journalists vote for the North American Car Of The Year and the North American Truck Of The Year, two prizes awarded to vehicles that marked the industry in the last year.

In the car category, the bronze medal was awarded to the Hyundai Genesis, which impressed judges enough to score 110 points. The Ford Mustang finished second with 204 points, and the Volkswagen Golf/GTI duo scored 256 points, enough to be crowned 2015 Car Of The Year.

For the trucks, the lowest position on the podium is occupied by the Lincoln MKX; the crossover scored 68 points. The Chevrolet Colorado managed to climb to the second place with 205 points, but the Truck Of The Year award was given to the Ford F-150, which scored 297 points.
