As you can see, the Dodge Durango Special Service edition was designed to help the various emergency services, including municipalities, fire departments and police.
This is the ideal vehicle to compliment the Dodge Charger Pursuit which is reserved for police.
The Dodge Durango Special has lost its third row seat, creating a larger cargo space. It also benefits from a self-leveling suspension, more powerful braking, a heavy-duty battery, an engine oil cooler and a more powerful water pump.
Two engines are offered:
Pentastar V6 3.6-litre with 290 horsepower;
5.7-liter V8 with 360 horsepower.
They are accompanied by an eight-speed automatic transmission.
