When Hyundai launched the Genesis sedan in 2008, it shocked the automotive world.
The Genesis won North American and Canadian Car of the Year awards, and earned praise from auto journalists everywhere, including Motoring TV friend David Booth, who said back in 2008 that with his eyes closed he could just have easily been in a BMW 5 Series.
Well six years later Hyundai decided to give the Genesis a redesign for 2015, a risky move to some, but one that could pay huge dividends for the brand.
The Motoring TV team was in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley to put the second generation Genesis sedan to the test.
