Kenzie’s Korner: 1988 car prices 27 years later

Not long ago, Jim Kenzie saw an ad in a Calgary newspaper boasting that the prices of the Dodge Caravan and Ram pickup were the same as in 1988.
That’s a pretty remarkable thing, Jim says, considering the amount of safety and convenience features packed into today’s vehicles compared to those 27 years ago.
“Do they make ‘em like they used to?” Jim asks. “No they don’t, and we should all be really happy for that.”
