On certain vehicles, the impact sensors programming for the Airbag Control Unit (ACU) may be incorrect. In the event of a crash, if the ACU detects a fault related to the impact sensors, the airbag system may not deploy the airbag(s) properly, which could increase the risk of injury to vehicle occupants. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the Airbag Control Unit. Note: Only “Veloster N” vehicles are affected. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
