Most Toyota RAV4s are powered by a 2.5L four-cylinder engine that produces 176 horsepower and 172 lb·ft of torque. The RAV4 hybrid, however, is powered by an Atkinson-cycle, 2.5L four cylinder and an electric motor for a combined output of 194 horsepower.
