While some performance enthusiasts are still mourning the loss of the WRX STI, the base WRX continues to shine with a turbocharged 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine that serves up 271 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. of torque. Surprisingly, models equipped with the manual gearbox have better fuel consumption ratings than those featuring the CVT. The cabin puts the driver in an ergonomic position, and most of the controls can be found on the available 11.6-inch touchscreen.
