Honda Clarity
The Clarity sedan is available in fully electric and fuel cell variants in other markets, but only a plug-in hybrid powertrain is offered in Canada. This one includes an electric motor as well as a 1.5-litre gasoline engine acting mainly as an on-board generator, providing a combined 212 horsepower. The Clarity’s spacious cockpit and roomy trunk help it stand out among hybrid sedans, and in EV mode, the car can cover up to 77 km on a single charge.
