Slightly bigger and much more modern than the Encore, the Buick Encore GX is still a small SUV, slotting below the Envision. It shares many components with the Chevrolet Trailblazer including a pair of turbocharged three-cylinder engines with 1.2 and 1.3 litres of displacement. Models with front-wheel drive use a continuously variable transmission, while those with all-wheel drive get a nine-speed automatic.
