As the most affordable car in Acura’s lineup, the ILX sedan aims to stand out from the competition by offering a sporty driving experience. Its naturally aspirated 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine produces 201 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. There is no bigger engine, manual gearbox or all-wheel drive option anywhere on the menu, although Acura came up with an A-Spec package that boosts the car’s visual flair.
