Metallica frontman James Hetfield is an avid car enthusiast and tuner. He has an obsession with classic hot rods, in particular.
Ten custom vehicles Hetfield helped create, which have never been shown together to the public, will be on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles beginning February 1.
The list includes the 1932 Ford Roadster “Black Jack,” the 1934 Packard “Aquarius,” the 1936 Auburn “Slow Burn," the 1937 Lincoln Zephyr “VooDoo Priest,” the 1937 Ford Coupe “Crimson Ghost,” the 1948 Jaguar “Black Pearl” and the 1953 Buick Skylark “Skyscraper.”
Since we assume you won’t be able to go, here’s a photo gallery that shows Hetfield’s stunning collection.
