This Is the Only Aston Martin Valiant to Find a Home in Canada
Grand Touring Automobiles in Toronto recently delivered one of the 38 units of the Aston Martin Valiant globally, and the sole unit allocated to the Canadian market.
Born from a personal commission by two-time F1 world champion and Aston Martin team driver Fernando Alonso, the Valiant was originally introduced in June of last year as a lighter, more extreme, race car-inspired version of the magnificent Valour developed with the help of the automaker’s in-house bespoke division, Q.

The identity of the Canadian buyer has not been disclosed.

The road-legal, track-focused Valiant is motivated by a twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V12 engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission—a combo that practically no longer exists these days. Output is rated at 735 horsepower.
The full carbon fibre body is finished in bespoke Golden Saffron and adorned with exclusive Q Commissionbadging. And get this: Alonso's signature is hand-applied to the centre console, giving the car even more cachet.
"Delivering Canada's only Aston Martin Valiant is a true honour," said Paul Cummings, Dealer Principal and CEO of Grand Touring Automobiles. "This vehicle represents the highest expression of Aston Martin's technical mastery and bespoke craftsmanship. It is also a testament to our unwavering commitment to offering our clients access to the most exceptional and rare vehicles in the world."

We don’t know how much the mysterious Canadian buyer spent for their Valiant, which is sure to gain value over the years. By the way, the all-new Aston Martin Vanquish, equipped with the same engine but delivering considerably more power (824 hp), starts at $514,800.
