2025 Honda Prologue Gains Power and Range
Similar to the Chevrolet Blazer EV, its platform-sharing cousin from General Motors, the Honda Prologue benefits from an upgraded front power unit for 2025, offering longer range and improved power.
The announcement was made on Monday for the U.S. market, but the new specs will also apply to Canada except for the single-motor, front-wheel-drive models that aren’t sold north of the border.

The dual-motor, AWD-equipped 2025 Honda Prologue generates 300 horsepower and 355 lb-ft of torque, marking an increase of 12 horsepower and 22 lb-ft from 2024.

More importantly, perhaps, maximum range has been increased from 452 km to 473 km (+21) in the case of EX and EX-L models. At the top of the lineup, the better-equipped Prologue Touring rides on 21-inch wheels and can now drive 455 km instead of 439 km (+16).
Unlike the Blazer EV, which is also available in mighty SS trim (615 hp, 650 lb-ft), the Prologue does not offer a high-performance model.

Want more good news? U.S. prices are unchanged despite the enhanced power and range—at least for now. Tariffs imposed by Washington and counter-tariffs from Ottawa could change that. Honda has yet to say how much the 2025 Prologue will cost in Canada.
