The CCAQ Raises Funds For Ukrainian Refugees
The war currently taking place in Ukraine following the invasion by Russia affects us all, and for those who want to help, here’s one of many ways.
Following a call for action from many of its members, the CCAQ (Quebec automobile dealers’ corporation) has decided to launch a fundraiser to support the Ukrainian community and families.
The collected funds will be distributed between the CCAQ’s regional branches, and then given to the refugees who will be welcomed in different parts of the province. Since most of these people have no money or resources of any kind, this will help them cover some of their expenses and facilitate their integration in Canada.
“We encourage you to give generously, so these Ukrainian men, women and children can make themselves at home more easily in our country,” says the CCAQ on its Facebook page.
