Check Out This Rare Low-Mileage Honda S2000 Club Racer

Some of us miss the Honda S2000 terribly. And while there’s a lot of buzz around its possible comeback in the form of (you guessed it) an EV, the “classic” S2000s will always be keepers, especially if they are in good condition and, on top of that, limited edition Club Racers.

This S2K is currently gathering bids on Bringatrailer.com and it is one of 699 Club Racer examples produced for the US market. Also, it is one of just 200 painted in Apex Blue Pearl.

Under the hood, you will find the 2.2-liter VTEC inline-four paired with a six-speed manual transmission which outputs 237 horsepower at 7,800 rpm and 162 lb-ft of torque at 6,800 rpm.

The Club Racer (CR) includes a slew of model-specific features like stiffer springs and anti-roll bars, rear chassis brace, quicker steering ratio compared to the standard AP2 S2000, and more. It also has aerodynamic bits here in there to keep in grounded. It sits on factory 17″ wheels wrapped in 215/45 front and 255/40 rear Bridgestone Potenza RE070 tires.

This car isn’t a stranger to auctions, but it still shows less than 9,000 miles (less than 15,000 kilometres) on the odometer.

The current bid sits at $50,000 US (approx. 61,000 $ CAD at the current exchange rate) with two days left to the no-reserve auction.
