That means it’s time to compare the choices with The Car Guide’s own vehicles of the year and predict which models will be crowned on January 11. We’d like to hear your opinion!

2021 North American Car of the Year:

The Car Guide’s winner was the Polestar 2.

2021 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year:

The Car Guide’s winner was the Toyota RAV4 Prime.

2021 North American Truck of the Year:

The Car Guide’s winner was the quartet made up of the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade.

Founded in 1994, the NACTOY awards are the longest-running new-vehicle awards not associated with a single publication, website, radio or television station. They are judged by professional automotive journalists from Canada and the U.S. including The Car Guide’s Antoine Joubert, Gabriel Gélinas and Marc Lachapelle.

Come back on January 11 to find out the winners!
