This Jeep Gladiator 6x6 Straight Out of Hell Packs a Corvette Engine
There are quite a few ways to make the Jeep Gladiator even more radical and capable, you know.
We’ve already shown you the MAXIMUM 1000 (as in 1,000 horsepower) designed by Hennessey. Now, here’s a Gladiator that went to hell and came back thanks to a South Florida tuning company called So Flo Jeeps.

As you can see on the pictures, the chassis was cut and extended in order to add a third axle and create one of those 6x6 monsters that seem to be so popular in the U.S. A Detroit Truetrac nine-inch differential allows the truck to operate with full-time six-wheel drive.
Output is a relatively modest 300 horsepower, but towing capacity is increased from the regular Gladiator’s 7,650 pounds to an impressive 12,000 pounds. A Corvette-derived, 6.2-litre LS3 V8 producing 430 horsepower and 425 pound-feet of torque is optional.
In either case, a bulging fiberglass hood with several air outlets sits atop the engine. Along with the 2-in-1 custom bumper and grille, plus the new headlights with red halos, it gives this Gladiator 6x6 a scary, almost diabolical look.
Other modifications include 38x15-inch Patagonia tires and a five-inch lift kit increasing suspension travel to 14 inches at each axle. Luckily, there are power-folding side steps to make access to the cabin easier and a Falcon stabilizer bar to optimize control and handling.
The cargo bed is covered with a three-part epoxy, scratch-resistance coating mixed with Kevlar. Roll bars and a full-size spare tire are mounted up top. Inside, you’ll find hand-stitched, marine-grade leather. Naturally, both the doors and roof can be removed.
So Flo Jeeps can build you a copy of their wicked beast for $140,000 USD, or about $188,000 CAD. There’s another variant featuring a turbo-diesel engine combined with an e-motor and Tesla battery. Any takers?
