Completely redesigned for the 2018 model year, Buick’s largest crossover is getting a first round of updates to make it more attractive and versatile entering a new decade.
For starters, the 2020 Buick Enclave offers a new, monochromatic Sport Touring package that includes a unique Sport grille with a body-colour surround and 20-inch bright machined aluminum wheels with contrasting Satin Graphite pockets. It is available on the base Essence trim level.
The top-of-the-line Enclave Avenir gets a sleeker appearance, too, with a lower panel that matches the rest of the exterior. Three new body colours round out the exterior updates: Champagne Gold Metallic, Rich Garnet Metallic (Avenir only) and Dark Moon Blue Metallic.
Inside, Buick’s next generation infotainment system features a new eight-inch touchscreen as standard and offers available navigation. The system is capable of supporting SiriusXM with 360L (if equipped), which combines satellite and streaming to deliver more channels and content to Buick drivers and their passengers.
Other tech additions to the 2020 Buick Enclave include available new HD rear-view camera and HD surround view systems that improve visibility and make low-speed manoeuvres easier, especially when backing up.
Even better, there’s a new, four-way power lumbar seat adjuster with a massage feature for the front occupants. It comes standard on the Premium and Avenir trim levels.
Unsurprisingly, there are no changes under the hood. The 3.6-litre V6 engine returns with 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque.
“The Buick Enclave is everything buyers want in a premium crossover with its distinct styling, quality and driving dynamics,” said Sabrina Keeler, National Marketing Manager, Buick Canada “We’re upping the comfort in the 2020 model with massaging seats, a new and different look for customers with Sport Touring package and providing customers with enhanced in-vehicle technology.”
The 2020 Buick Enclave starts at $49,998 (including destination freight charge) and will arrive in Canadian dealerships later this summer.
