Here is the Production Version of the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback

A few weeks ago, we showcased the Honda Civic Hatchback in concept form (said concept was, admittedly, pretty close to a production model). However, we were told we would have to wait for the Paris Auto Show to discover the production version.

The 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback was finally shown to the world via Internet. The official pictures above show wheels that have a more production-ready design as well as black accents on the grille and the air intakes. The overall appearance is much more homogenous and looks cool, in my opinion. The car in the pictures is a Touring Sport version; you can spot it by its centre exhaust outlets.

So far, the only available engine will be a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder, regardless of the trim level. Eventually, Si and Type R models will be added to the lineup; these will not only be more powerful, but they will be tuned for a sportier driving experience. The most powerful version of them all, the Type R, will reportedly boast up to 305 horsepower… and we might see it for the first time at the Paris Auto Show.
