Toyota Corolla celebrating 50 years with facelift for 2017

Toyota is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Corolla with a mid-cycle refresh for the 11th generation of the popular compact.

The 2017 Toyota Corolla gets a radical overhaul to its front fascia, with a more aggressive bumper and new LED headlights, while a new XSE trim has also been added to the lineup.

All models also feature Toyota Safety Sense technology, which includes lane departure warning with steering assist and adaptive cruise control.

The interior has also been reworked, and includes a standard 6.1-inch infotainment system in the centre stack.

Toyota also confirmed the Scion iM will be re-branded as the Toyota Corolla iM starting with the 2017 model year as part of the dissolution of Scion.
