Pricing for the 2017 Hyundai Elantra

The 2017 Hyundai Elantra recently rolled out, but we were missing one critical piece of information: how much of our dollars would we have to give away to get one of these compact sedans?

The base L trim level comes with a 2.0-litre, Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine. It sports 15-inch wheels, power windows and heated mirrors. It will be possible to get one of these for $15,999 before freight and delivery charges.

The Elantra LE also features air conditioning, an automatic transmission and Bluetooth integration, all for an MSRP of $18,499.

The GL adds some niceties like a cruise control, 16-inch wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a seven-inch touchscreen with Android Auto, satellite radio and a few other items for $20,349.

The $22,699 GLS trim adds another layer of content with a sunroof, 17-inch wheels, bigger brakes, heated rear seats, push-button start and automatic dual-zone climate control.

The Limited sits at the top of the range with its leather interior, eight-inch touchscreen, Infinity audio system and backup sensors. This one is worth $26,249. You can also add the Ultimate package, which adds emergency braking, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control and HID headlights for $28,799.
