The Volkswagen Tiguan Family Might Grow

According to AutoExpress’ latest rumour, Volkswagen is brewing some interesting things. And since the market is very SUV-friendly, it seems like the Tiguan will receive some siblings.

We can obviously expect a seven-passenger variant. This model would supposedly be 11 centimetres longer and sport a different look.

The other newcomer might be more stylish: in an effort to challenge the Range Rover Evoque, the German automaker is building a four-door "coupe" version of the Tiguan. This SUV would sit on the MQB platform, and would feature styling cues reminiscent of the regular Tiguan, but in a more "dynamic" package.

Both models may come out in the next three years; according to AutoExpress, they will all bear the Tiguan name.
