An Italian Superbike With AMG Flavour

We recently talked about the alliance between Mercedes-Benz and bike manufacturer MV Agusta. In October of last year, the German automaker bought 25% of the Italian bike builder in an attempt to follow in the footsteps of VW (which had just recently purchased Ducati).

To celebrate their union, both brands jointly announced a very limited version of one if Italy's finest superbikes.

Based on the style of the Mercedes-AMG GT S, the MV Agusta F3 800 is covered in the same yellow paint as the German supercar. The bike also sports the AMG name on both sides, and its wheels are decorated with a yellow band.

The motorcycle is fitted with a 798cc engine, and while it certainly won't sound as good as the AMG GT, it will rocket the bike to ridiculous speeds since it has 148 horsepower and 65 pound-feet of torque. With a straight and long enough, the MV Agusta can get up to 269 km/h.

Did you know there is also an AMG-branded speedboat?
