2015 Volkswagen Golf Sportwagon: We're Driving It This Week

This week The Car Guide is heading down to Austin, Texas to drive the 2015 Volkswagen Golf Sportwagon. The Golf Sportwagon is based on the same platform as the Golf hatchback, but it offers significantly more cargo space, making it a more viable option for families on the go.  It's available with the choice between a turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine or a turbodiesel unit, and each provides very respectable fuel efficiency regardless of whether the transmission selected is a dual-clutch automated manual or a traditional six-speed manual.

Check back with us later this week for a full report on the 2015 Volkswagen Golf Sportwagon. In the meantime, read our past coverage of the redesigned Volkswagen Golf.
