Lexus LF-LC GT Vision Gran Turismo Unveiled

The Vision Gran Turismo programme is still going strong, and the latest manufacturer to join the already long list is Lexus, which just unveiled the LF-LC GT Vision Gran Turismo in a virtual reveal.

The brand’s aficionados will probably recognize some styling cues in this car: it is based on the LF-LC prototype, but it also sports the same racing treatment that was applied to the RC F Sport (presented in Geneva last year). However, where the RC F was restricted by real-world concerns, like being based on a production model, the Vision Gran Turismo concept has no such limitations; this means that its bumpers almost touch the ground and look molded into the bodywork, its hood is fitted with a large ventilation port and the side skirts are almost wider than the car. Finally, the exhaust exits are located on the sides, right behind the doors.

The manufacturer has not commented on what engine is to be found in the car, but we can speculate that it’s the same mill found in the RC F Sport: a 450-horsepower, 5-litre V8 very similar to the one in the road-going RC F.
