BMW Presents the Future of the 7 Series in Beijing

BMW just unveiled its Luxury Vision Concept in Beijing. Based on a platform shared with the next Rolls-Royce Phantom, the early rumors talked about it as a possible super-luxurious coupe known as the 9 Series.

The guessing game is pretty much over: a representative from BMW hinted that this car could represent the future of the 7 Series, the top-of-the-line full-size sedan in the Bavarian manufacturer's lineup.

The Luxury Vision Concept reminds us of the Gran Lusso Concept unveiled at the Concorso D'Eleganza Villa D'Este last year. The Luxury Vision is a four-door, however, and features a more refined interior.

The production version of the 7 Series should be presented soon, since the car is due for next year.
